Some History

Everything started when two young students of accounting and economics who worked as trainees in large firms, members of the Big 4, wished to utilize their success in handling and consulting companies and wealthy clients in the firms in which they worked and to obtain tax returns for their student colleagues in the Tel Aviv University who undertook additional casual jobs.

A demand quickly grew for the services of the two, and in 1995 they established a small company to handle tax returns.  Rapidly the Company opened branches at the Students Association’s at the Tel Aviv University, the Bar Ilan University, the Kibbutz Seminar and others.
As a natural continuation of this business initiative, and based on the wave of their success, the two partners in 1996 opened an accounting firm which started handling small businesses and self-employed and rapidly grew and top companies and others in the Israeli economy joined as client. The firm started specializing in the rehabilitation  of companies in difficulties to recover, in liquidations and receiverships.
In 2000 the firm of Ozery Wielunski merged with the veteran office of the late Yaakov Gafni, CPA and became the firm of Ozery Wielunski & Gafni OWG in its present form.
